Anyone shipped with Poland is automatically CRACK PAIRING CENTRAL. Poland is too bro-tastic for me to take serious in anything.

I don't actually like to ship a lot characters because I don't think most countries would actually be interested in it. I think they would be more interested in themselves and their own. It would just be natural for them to think internally.

Any shipping of micro-nations is kind of gross to me. I see them like children and children have no idea how to romance.

Even if it was intended that HRE grow up to be Germany, for all intent and purpose, the character is gone, so that relationship is gone with him. If HRE and Italy grew up together, they would be the best bros ever, though.

Shipping Rome and Germainia doesn't make any sense to my brain, but I won't hate on it because I ship enemies all the time.

I don't generally like to ship any incestuous pairings, but since they're countries and not actual siblings I don't hate on anyone who does for Hetalia. In fact there are certain circumstances where I actually really like, say, America and Canada as a couple, but those instances are rare and I'm very particular.

I don't see most of the Asian sibling units as legitimate siblings. Especially where China is concerned. The way I see it, China is kind of EVERYONE'S big brother. That and most of the Asian interaction we've seen out of the series isn't particularly close. I don't feel that they look at each other as siblings so much.
